Who works where?
We actually know very little about the theme of work from Constance's archive. We know she was a Post Office supervisor for over 30 years.
We know that her father, according to her birth certificate, was a journeyman tailor. We know her brother did some freelance writing for a local Jewish neswpaper. Harry was also in the RAF, we know this from photos and other allusions to his military service.
We can speculate that her sister, Rose, was a music teacher of some kind, judging by all the certificates he has and that as she was never married she would have had to support herself.
Overall there is not a great deal of material relating to this topic. This again says a lot about the structure of her archive, it doesn't nor must it cover everything. It is also perhaps testament that work was not the centre of Constance's life, her friends and family had a more central role.
